MODERN METAL BUILT ON ENERGY, FRIENDSHIP AND SINCERITY
The story of the band RIZON did not begin with big plans or ambitions to become something "huge." It started in a completely ordinary way — during a school break, when a simple question was asked about whether anyone would like to join a band. The answer was just as simple: "Sure, why not." And it was this moment that set in motion a journey that has lasted for decades.
The musical roots of the members go back to the 80s and 90s era, when bands like Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, and Bryan Adams dominated the scene. It was music built on big choruses and big dreams — music that naturally sparked a desire to create something of their own. Later, heavier and more complex influences followed, such as Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Savatage, and over time even modern metal acts like Avatar and Ice Nine Kills found their way into their world. However, RIZON was never about copying — it has always been about blending influences into their own sound.
Their style can be described as modern melodic metal, but more important than genre is the energy they deliver. RIZON's music is not overly complicated or technically self-serving. It is built on power, catchiness, and direct impact. The goal is for the listener to feel the energy, not analyze the details.
As the band itself says: "We mainly make music for ourselves. If other people find themselves in it too, that's a huge bonus."
Lyrically, the band moves between personal themes and reflections on the world around them. It often deals with life experiences, observations, and social questions. The music therefore feels honest and natural — not like a pose, but like a response to reality.
One of the band's strengths is also its internal stability. RIZON is built on long-term friendship that has survived changes in life, work, and family. It is not just a musical project, but a functioning group of people who trust each other beyond music. This cohesion is what has allowed them to stay together for so long.

Songwriting happens more individually than through romantic sessions over wine and movies. Ideas arise spontaneously — at home, on the street, in the mind — and are often recorded on a phone. Only afterwards are they turned into full songs in rehearsal, where they are further developed together.
On stage, the band relies on energy and connection with the audience. Whether in small clubs or larger venues, the essence remains the same — an exchange of energy between the band and the people in front of them. They consider this moment the most important part of the entire musical journey.
They are currently working on new songs that push their sound slightly forward, but without losing their identity. The music remains energetic, melodic, and honest — just a bit more intense and refined.
The future of the band is not defined by a specific goal. It is more about continuing the journey — more concerts, new places, new audiences, and above all, music they still enjoy creating.
RIZON thus remains exactly what it has been since the beginning — a band that did not form to impress, but to play music that makes sense to them.
